One woman and three children under the age of 8 were struck by a vehicle and injured Friday in North Hollywood, one critically.
The crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. outside 10900 Oxnard St., near Vineland Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
All four people were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. A 5-year-old boy was listed in critical condition. The woman and the two other children suffered moderate injuries and were also taken to a hospital, according to Prange. There’s no word as to whether the injured were in a crosswalk.
The condition of the driver was unknown. The crash was being investigated by Los Angeles police.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, KCAL9 reported.
