Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a two-story apartment building in Koreatown Friday.
Firefighters knocked down a fire in a unit on the second floor, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The 911 call about the fire was received at 6:07 a.m. The flames were extinguished by 6:26 a.m., she said.
One woman was evaluated for smoke inhalation but was not hospitalized. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
