Fighting in a defensive mode, firefighters contained and quickly put out a fire at a one-story commercial building in North Hollywood Friday.
Fire crews were called at 12:27 a.m. to 6669 Lankershim Blvd. and Archwood Street where they found flames coming from the vacant building, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
It took 34 firefighters 24 minutes to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
