Authorities Monday were investigating the discovery of human remains at the Port of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department, along with Port Police and the coroner’s office, responded to the scene around 4:40 p.m. Monday, but there was no immediate word on who the person was.
There was also no immediate information about the cause of death or the condition of the body, according to the LAFD’s Brian Humphrey.
