A man in his 20s who was hit by a dark-colored vehicle while sitting in a street in Porter Ranch died Monday and the driver remained at large.
The man was “gravely injured” about 1 a.m. Sunday at Braemore Road and Bowmore Avenue, taken to a hospital and died Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The vehicle that hit the man kept traveling eastbound on Braemore Road, police said.
A reward of up to $50,000 is available from Los Angeles’ Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise for drivers in fatal hit-and-runs.
