Firefighters contained and extinguished a fire at a one-story wine bar Tuesday in Sherman Oaks.
Fire crews responded at 3:14 a.m. to 13456 W. Ventura Blvd. west of Woodman and Fulton avenues where they encountered a fully involved fire with flames coming through the roof in a row of commercial units, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
It took 54 firefighters 29 minutes to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported and motorists were advised to avoid the area on Ventura between Greenbush and Allott avenues, Stewart said.
