A 19-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly carrying out a home-invasion robbery in Redondo Beach and pistol-whipping a resident.
Redondo Beach detectives responded just after 9 a.m. April 15 to the 600 block of Beryl Street on a report of a home invasion in which the suspect pistol-whipped the homeowner and demanded property before leaving the scene, according to Lt. Jeff Mendence of the Redondo Beach Police Department.
On Tuesday, detectives served a search warrant at undisclosed locations in the city of Los Angeles and arrested Dylan Damarco Landry in connection with the crime, Mendence said.
Landry was booked at the Redondo Beach Police Department jail on suspicion of commercial burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping.
The department released several images of the vehicle Landry allegedly used during the robbery, presumed to be a Chevrolet Camaro, in case anyone recognizes it as being involved in other crimes.
