A fire in the garage of a condominium building in Woodland Hills Thursday left two people injured.
Firefighters sent to the three-story building in the 21800 block of West Burbank Boulevard at 9:29 a.m. extinguished the flames in 26 minutes, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A man in his 40s was treated at the scene for a minor burn to his neck, and a neighbor in her 90s was taken to a hospital in fair condition “following exposure to smoke from the fire,” Humphrey said.
The cause of the fire, on the ground floor of the building, was under investigation.
