A 50-year-old man who pleaded guilty last month to molesting two girls in La Habra failed to show for sentencing, prompting a bench warrant to be issued for his arrest Friday.
Jose Daniel Rojas Diaz pleaded guilty April 17 to four counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, three counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 and a count of sexual battery, all felonies.
Diaz admitted that he molested one girl between June of 2005 through June of 2010, and another girl from September of 2008 through September of 2009, according to his plea agreement. He was expected to be sentenced to 12 years in prison, but failed to show for the hearing Thursday.
