One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision Thursday in Costa Mesa.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol were called at 12:56 a.m. to the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway and Harbor Boulevard where they found the victim trapped inside one of the vehicles and was” unresponsive,” the CHP said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed two lanes of the southbound freeway.
