The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the death of a man in Moreno Valley Sunday.
Deputies from the Moreno Valley sheriff’s station responded to the 23000 block of Alessandro Boulevard at around 8:50 p.m. Saturday to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon arrival, they found a dead man in the parking lot of the location. The crime scene was secured while investigators from the Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation.
The man’s identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
