Three people were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Palmdale, authorities said Sunday.
Sixteen drivers were also cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The checkpoint at Avenue R and 40th Street East began at 6 p.m. Saturday and ended at 2 a.m. Sunday. A total of 903 vehicles were contacted, sheriff’s officials said.
