A man was fatally shot Tuesday evening in Pico Rivera.
Sheriff’s deputies were called at 8:18 p.m. to the 9400 block of Underwood Street, near Whittier and Passons boulevards, regarding a shots fired call. Upon their arrival they found the victim, said sheriff’s homicide Lt. Patricia Thomas.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
