A fire that spread from a garage to an adjacent home in North Hollywood was fully extinguished in 20 minutes by 30 firefighters Friday evening.

Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responded to the 6500 block of Agnes Avenue, near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, at around 6:25 p.m. and found heavy fire showing in the detached garage to the rear of a house, according to Nicholas Prange of the LAFD.

Flames spread to the house on the adjacent property to the rear, but firefighters quickly extinguished the flames to limit the damage, Prange said.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
