Firefighters knocked down a large outside fire that spread to a 40-foot trailer in Pacoima that left one firefighter with burn injuries.
The blaze at 12885 W. Foothill Blvd. was reported at 7:31 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The department sent 49 firefighters to the blaze and extinguished the outside fire 32 minutes, Prange said.
Firefighters protected commercial buildings the flames that were threatening, he said.
A firefighter sustained burns to an extremity and was transported to the hospital in fair condition, he said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
