Sheriff’s homicide detectives conducted a death investigation Saturday of a man in Compton.
The body was found just after 4 p.m. in the 2000 block of Santa Fe Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the LASD reported. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of death was not immediately released by authorities.
