A woman was arrested for allegedly driving a vehicle in reverse, striking parked vehicles and then fatally injuring another woman outside a 7-Eleven in South Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.
Officers were at the intersection of Century Boulevard and Figueroa Street at 10:11 p.m. Saturday when they saw a woman driving a vehicle in reverse, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division reported.
The vehicle struck some parked vehicles and then drove into a 7-Eleven, striking the victim, police said.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The woman behind the wheel of the wayward vehicle was taken into custody. No further information was immediately available.
