Firefighters were working to extinguish a quarter-acre brush fire in the Chinatown area Tuesday.

No structures were threatened by the fire, which was reported at about 12:50 p.m. in the 400 block of West Solano Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was burning uphill in medium brush, the LAFD reported. No injuries were reported.
