Five motorists were arrested and five motorists were cited during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Diamond Bar, authorities said Saturday.
The checkpoint at Diamond Bar Boulevard and Highland Valley Road began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and a motorist was arrested on suspicion of knowingly allowing an unlicensed motorist to drive. Another motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Five motorists were also cited for being unlicensed at the checkpoint.
