A verbal dispute inside a vehicle in Hollywood Monday morning escalated to a stabbing that left one woman dead, one woman hospitalized and one woman under arrest.
The stabbing occurred at 1:45 a.m. in the 7200 block of West Sunset Boulevard at Formosa Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Norma Eisenman told City News Service.
The wounded women were rushed to a hospital where the 46-year-old woman was pronounced dead and a 24-year-old woman had stable vital signs, Eisenman said.
The 23-year-old woman who allegedly wielded the knife was taken into custody, she said.
