Police were involved in a shooting with a grand theft auto suspect Sunday morning in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at 4:32 a.m. to the 6300 block of South Hoover Street, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division reported. The area is a few blocks west of the Harbor (110) Freeway.
The call initially involved a grand theft auto suspect, according to Officer Norma Eisenman, who had no other immediate information.
