A fire damaged a duplex in the south Los Angeles area Friday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 10500 block of South San Pedro Street at 6:25 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story building in 11 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
