A 52-year-old man from Lake Elsinore was arrested after deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department served a narcotics-related search warrant, the sheriff’s department announced Friday.

The search warrant was served on the 33000 block of Adelfa Street on Thursday with the help of K9 units. Deputies found more than $20,000 in cash, 927 M30 pills, one pound of methamphetamine, 2.1 pounds of fentanyl, 15 grams of cocaine, three non-serialized handguns, 120 rounds of various ammunition, one silencer, four extended magazines and one high-capacity rifle magazine.

The suspect was identified as Paul Puga, who was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of fentanyl for sale, possession of narcotics for sale, possession of a silencer, concealing controlled substances in a false compartment and bringing narcotics into the jail.
