Two suspects in a high-speed chase of a stolen car that began in Ontario were at large Wednesday evening.
The chase of the Dodge Challenger on the Pomona (60) Freeway reached speeds over 100 mph, according to KCAL. The suspects jumped out of the car at the corner of Collegian Avenue and Dorner Drive, then ran into the Walgreens, KCAL reported.
Monterey Park Police Department officers and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies set up a perimeter around the building but did not see either suspect exit, according to KCAL.
Authorities ordered everyone inside to exit the pharmacy. One by one, each person walked out of the front doors with their hands up, KCAL reported.
After about an hour, deputies searched the Walgreens and did not find the suspects, according to KCAL.
Authorities are reviewing security footage in an attempt to determine their whereabouts, KCAL reported.
