The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating a homicide in Perris Saturday.
Deputies from the sheriff’s Perris station responded to a report of a shooting victim on Friday around 9 p.m. at a residence in the 300 block of West First Street.
Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and he was rushed to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was identified as 21-year-old Alexis Larranaga of Perris.
No suspect information was immediately available.
