A brush fire slowly burned approximately a half-acre of vegetation in Brentwood Friday evening with no reports of injuries or structure damage.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 4000 block of Mandeville Canyon Road between Sky Valley Road and Sherry Lane around 8:40 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange,
It’s unclear what may have sparked the flames.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
