A fire damaged some materials inside a vacant church building in the Central-Alameda area of Los Angles Friday, and no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 1400 block of East 25th Street about 12:15 p.m. quickly extinguished the “contents” fire, which did not result in structural damage, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
