A man was struck and killed Sunday morning by vehicles while on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Carson, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 1:45 a.m. on the southbound freeway at the Wilmington Avenue offramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Witnesses reported to the CHP that a man wearing a gray shirt and blue pants was seen walking westbound across traffic at the right shoulder of the freeway. They then reported seeing the man lying in the slow lane of the southbound freeway.
There was no other information available.
