A fire in a two-story garden-style apartment building in Wilmington Wednesday evening was knocked down in 12 minutes with no reports of injuries.
According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey, 30 firefighters responded to the 200 block of East Opp Street near Broad Avenue around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a fire.
All occupants safely exited the building, Humphrey said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
