Fire crews battled a stubborn fire in the attic of an 18,300-square-foot, two-story apartment over a commercial building in Koreatown before containing and extinguishing it Thursday.
Firefighters were called to 3504 W. 3rd St. near Vermont Avenue where they were able to confine the flames to the attic, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
It took 90 firefighters 34 minutes to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
