A pedestrian who was hit by one or more vehicles and killed on the Hollywood (101) Freeway northwest of downtown Los Angeles was identified Thursday, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified William Connelly, 49, as the pedestrian.
Officers were sent to the southbound 101 Freeway near the Harbor (110) Freeway about 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two southbound freeway lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of Connelly’s death.
