Police Tuesday are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash in Long Beach that killed one person, left another hospitalized and spilt one of the vehicles in half.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:50 p.m. Monday at Pacific Coast Highway and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when the cars slammed into each other, CBS2 reported.
The collision reportedly knocked a pedestrian off his feet and he landed near the entrance of a nearby 7-Eleven. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Long Beach Fire Department paramedics, the station reported.
A bus bench was also ripped from the ground during the crash, video of the collision showed.
