Firefighters Saturday evening knocked down a blaze at a one-story, single-family dwelling in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:17 p.m. Saturday to the area of North Formosa Avenue and Alta Vista Avenue arrived to find one side of the structure on fire. Some 37 firefighters fought the fire, extinguishing it in under 20 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported, though a dog found in good condition will be relinquished to Los Angeles Animal Services.
No other structures were damaged, and the fire’s cause was under investigation.
