A 31-year-old man suspected of stealing merchandise from the same Silver Lake store twice in four days has been arrested, police said Monday.
The suspect entered the store in the 3600 block of Sunset Boulevard, near Griffith Park Boulevard, around 3:50 p.m. on Dec. 2, threatened an employee with a knife while stealing merchandise, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The same suspect punched another employee at the store around 4:25 p.m. Dec. 5, knocking him unconscious, while stealing merchandise in the same store, police said.
A store employee observed the same suspect enter the store on Thursday and notified the LAPD. Rampart Community Police Station patrol officers responded and detained the suspect inside the store without incident, police said.
The suspect was positively identified by the store employees as the person who committed the previous crimes, police said.
Tim Foreman was booked for robbery, police said.
