Fire Sunday damaged an attic at a four-story apartment building in Valley Village, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 6:35 a.m. to 12321 W. Riverside Drive had the fire out within 23 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
“The fire was contained to the attic in one corner of the building,” said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “Salvage operations were conducted in the units below to protect against water damage.”
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
