The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Monday circulated photos of a 15-year-old boy who may have been taken by his father to Texas in violation of a court order, authorities said.
Amari Renell Cooper, aka “A3,” was last seen Dec. 11 in the 6200 block of South Van Ness Avenue when he left to visit his father, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
Cooper was scheduled to return to his mother’s home on Friday.
He was described as a 5-feet-3-inch tall Black male weighing 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding Cooper’s whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff’s South Los Angeles station at 323-820-6700. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
