A 24-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested for allegedly robbing a convenience store in the Manchester Square area, police said Wednesday.

On Sunday, officers responded to the 15300 block of South Figueroa Street at around 10:45 a.m. regarding a reported armed robbery, where a suspect allegedly demanded money from the cash register.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Air Support Division directed officers to the suspect’s location in the 12300 block of South Willowbrook Avenue, where he was later arrested.

Charles Christopher was booked on suspicion of robbery and had bail set at $100,000.
