Authorities Tuesday sought the public’s help to find a man who went missing from Downey over the weekend.
Benny Debejar, 69, was last seen on Saturday about 11:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a “Silver Alert” on behalf of the Downey Police Department.
Debejar is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. He may be wearing a denim jacket and flannel checkered pants, and he is believed to be using a wheelchair, the CHP reported.
Anyone seeing him was urged to call 911.
