A girl was wounded Saturday in a shooting on Imperial Highway in the Green Meadows neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred about 5:40 p.m. Saturday on Imperial Highway at Avalon Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.
“A male suspect standing in a crowd fired several shots,” Cervantes said.
It was unclear who or what the gunman may have been firing at.
Officers located the wounded girl at a hospital with stable vital signs, she said. The girl’s age was not provided.
