Firefighters knocked down a fire at a Panorama City townhouse Friday.
The blaze at 8800 N. Kester Ave., near Sepulveda Recreation Center, broke out at shortly after 12:40 p.m. Friday, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The department dispatched 39 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in 15 minutes, Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
