The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Lake Elsinore station will host its second annual Pick-A-Truck and School Supply Give-Away next weekend at Lakepoint Park in Lake Elsinore.
The event will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Feb. 10 at 420 Lakeshore Drive, and will be open to people of all ages, officials said.
“Pick a truck that is in your sights, honk the horns & flash the lights!!!,” the sheriff’s station said.
The event will feature a school supply giveaway and numerous trucks that children can explore. Participants will include SWAT, the Riverside County Fire Department, city public works officials, construction dump trucks, Southern California Edison and Animal Friends of the Valleys.
