Authorities responded to a street in Lakewood Saturday after a report of a suspicious powder, but the substance was determined to not be dangerous.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department hazmat team deployed to Carson Street on Saturday morning. The units “made a joint entry and after conducting several tests, concluded that the substance was not dangerous,” according to the LACFD.
No further information was released.
