A woman who was struck and killed by at least two vehicles while trying to maneuver around traffic on the Hollywood (101) Freeway near Echo Park was positively identified Monday.
She was 28-year-old Guillerma Ramirez, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The crash occurred about 11:05 p.m. Saturday on the southbound freeway at North Vermont Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The fatal crash may have also triggered a separate two-vehicle crash. It was not known whether there were any injuries from that second crash.
No other details were available.
