A person was stabbed Sunday evening in the Palms area of Los Angeles and a suspect was taken into custody.
The stabbing was reported at 9:06 p.m. Sunday at 3743 Mentone Ave., Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im told City News Service.
It appeared the victim did not suffer serious injuries because paramedics were summoned to the scene but did not take any patients to hospitals, Im said. Detectives were not called to the scene.
One suspect was taken to the 77th Street police station for booking, he said.
Descriptions of the victim and suspect were not immediately available.
