A man barricaded in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles Tuesday evening after allegedly threatening a nearby resident with a gun has been taken into custody.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the 400 block of Fifth Street around 8:37 p.m. to a report regarding an armed suspect making threats to his neighbor.
Fifth Street remained closed between San Pedro and Wall streets following the arrest, police said.
