Detectives searched Monday for a 36-year-old woman with bipolar disorder who went missing from Whittier.
Emily Lee Pickens was last seen at 10:10 p.m. Sunday on the 9900 block of Ahmann Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Pickens depends upon medication so her family is concerned for her well-being, officials said.
She is white, 5 feet, 1 inch tall, 224 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a black shirt, blue denim jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on Pickens’ whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
