A 25-year-old man was shot Tuesday evening in Montecito Heights.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a shots fired call at approximately 8:50 p.m. at 2817 Johnston St., east of Griffin Avenue, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound, LAPD Officer Tony Im told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition, Im said.
The suspect drove away in a white sedan, police said.
