A 22-year-old man was killed when he was shot in a residential area of Sun Valley and crashed his vehicle, authorities said Saturday.
The shooting occurred around 9:15 p.m. Friday in the 8600 block of Morehart Avenue, according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement.
Arriving officers found the man inside a vehicle, which had crashed into a parked vehicle, police said.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
There was no suspect information, police said.
