A man was shot inside his garage Saturday in Wilmington.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 12:08 a.m. to 428 W. F St., between Neptune and Island avenues, regarding a shots fired call.
When they arrived, the victim told police he was inside his garage when he heard a gunshot and then realized that he had been shot in the upper body, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
There was no suspect description.
