A 25-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition Monday morning after he was shot while in a moving vehicle in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday when the vehicle was northbound on Bynhurst Avenue from Florence Avenue, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
A woman in the car with the man said she heard gunshots and realized the man was wounded, the dispatcher said. The woman took the man to a hospital where he was in critical condition.
